To search the database of houses currently for sale by their owner, use the property search form on the left. If you require details of a specific property that you have seen for sale, and you know its ID code, enter it in the appropriate box and click search.

Search results will return all properties on our database that match your selected criteria, and are displayed 10 per page.

Clicking on the thumbnail image or code for a specific property will display full details of that property including the contact details of the seller.

Property details pages have been specially designed to print easily.

Because all properties that are listed on Behoused.co.uk are also listed on Fish4homes, we recommend that if you cannot find a house that meets your criteria now you should sign up for the Fish4homes notification service which will e-mail you when a new house meeting your specifications is listed.

If you find a house you would like to view, contact the seller to arrange a mutually convenient time.

If you subsequently wish to buy the property, you must make an offer to, and negotiate directly with, the seller.

On agreeing a sale, both you and the seller should inform your solicitors, who will formalise agreements and issue contracts.

If you are arranging a mortgage, the mortgage company will instruct a valuer to value the property for mortgage purposes only. You may want to arrange a more detailed survey of the property
